Global Skills Varsity is an education integrator, a division of Global Skills University, New Delhi helps institutions to deliver recognised qualifications without effecting their autonomy. We are authorized Training partner of Awarding Bodies like Universities and Industry managed oranisations affiliated by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India. This will enable us to galvanise the Industry and align Industry training courses with National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and issue credit-based certification to instititutions and candidates.

National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF)

A structured pathway to skill progression and recognition

The National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) is a nationally integrated education and competency-based skill framework that will provide for multiple pathways, horizontal as well as vertical, both within vocational education and vocational training and among general education and technical education, thus linking one level of learning to another higher level. This will enable a person to acquire desired competency levels, transit to the job market and, at an opportune time, return for acquiring additional skills to further upgrade their competencies. The NSQF is a quality assurance framework that organizes qualifications according to a series of 8 NCrF levels.

The journey of getting a qualification approved at Global Skills Varsity involves a rigorous and collaborative process, ensuring relevance, quality, and compliance.

Demand Aggregation

Identify job roles & courses based on industry demand and skill gaps, job roles and course needs are identified across sectors.

Step 2

Formation of NOS (National Occupational Standards)

Developed in consultation with industry experts and subject matter specialists from leading institutions to define performance criteria.

Step 3

Creation of Qualification Pack (QP)

QPs include syllabus, assessment criteria, statutory requirements, and global best practices via international knowledge partners.

Step 4

Industry Endorsement & Board Approval

Courses and QPs are validated and endorsed by industry bodies and approved by the designated awarding board.

Step 5

NCVET & NSQC Submission

Submissions are sent to NCVET for review and approval by the National Skill Qualification Committee (NSQC).

Step 6

Publication on NQR

Approved qualifications are uploaded to the National Qualification Register (NQR) for nationwide recognition.
